I often hear complaints that there is nothing for children and teenagers to do in the village. I'm not entirely sure I agree with that, however if we are to entice our children away from their computer screens, I am all in favour of anything which could achieve that.
I am fully in support of the new dance school and the "Kaos" Youth Club, and would be fully in favour of the Parish Council helping with other schemes like these. There have also been recent attempts to provide football training for youngsters. And of course the Brownie/Guides, Cubs and Scouts etc. are all well attended in the village. But could we be doing more? Anything to help youngsters with sport, music, art and of course nature would get my vote!
